Melody has been singing for as long as she can remember. As a child she competed in multiple singing competitions, took lessons with many teachers (including at The Lesson Center!), and spent much of her life on tour with her father, (a world-renowned Prog Rock drummer) and her mother. Music has just always been a constant in her life. Melody then went to college at the New York Film Academy for musical theatre and screen acting. Since graduating in 2018, she’s been in multiple musicals around New York City including Hope Cladwell in Urinetown The Musical, Olive Ostrovsky in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Katherine Plumber in Newsies and Catherine in Pippin. She’s also played Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and modeled/commercial acted in Shopify’s recent international campaign. Melody also plays Casey on the children’s series The Ellie Sparkles Show (1.9 Million Subscribers on YouTube). She’s also performed at several NYC hotspots including 54 Below, The Green Room 42, Don’t Tell Mama, and The West End. She is currently represented by The Talent Express. Melody adores working with children as well as teens. She aims to help young performers work on tone, pitch, breath control, as well as acting to help really tell the story through song. She also teaches audition preparation so the student feels relaxed and confident when auditioning for any stage or screen performance. Melody also can teach beginner piano and ukulele lessons as well.
