I’m Erik Santana and I’ve been playing guitar for 30 years and have been teaching and playing live and doing studio work for 20 years. I’ve played various styles over the years from Funk, Afrobeat, Reggae, Blues, Surf Rock, Indie Rock, Psychedelic rock, Jam rock, improvisational music etc. Music and guitar has been a fundamental part of me for most of my life. I enjoy teaching people how learn music from varying levels and experience. I match my students goals while teaching them anything from music theory, fretboard theory, ear training, vocals to song writing. The instruments I teach are electric guitar, electric bass and lapsteel. I also teach basic drums to guitarists to expand their understanding of rhythm.
